If everyone was fortunate enough to have you as their college advisor, they would ALL get into the college of their dreams. I realize that not everyone is able to achieve their dreams, but I am truly blessed and grateful to do so. However, NONE of this would be possible without you. You truly have been my guardian angel for these past few months and I dedicate much of this achievement to you, Debbie. I just wanted to thank you again for the great work you did with my daughter Madelyn in identifying Colleges and Universities that “fit” her education needs, career interests and academic capabilities. Your guidance and perseverance enabled Madelyn to complete and submit all her applications by November with little stress or aggravation on her part, and none on my part. As you know, she has gotten into her first choice and she is ecstatic. We are now in the process of thinking about everything we need to get her set for college life, while most of her friends are either still completing applications and/or waiting for their acceptance letter.

I speak for both Adam and myself when I thank you! One of our best decisions was choosing you for Adam’s college advisor. You worked so well with him, helping him to choose the schools that would best fit him. Your assistance was invaluable in organizing his resume, working on his essay topics and preparing him for his Ivy League interview. You gave us all the time we needed, and were incredibly flexible in meeting with us given Adam’s demanding schedule. Equally important, you kept me calm through a stressful (but exciting) time.

A testament to your work is that Adam got into his first choice, Cornell University, despite SAT scores on the lowest end of Cornell’s SAT range. While Adam had an otherwise good all-around record, you really helped to “package” him. You spent considerable time assisting us in choosing the right program at Cornell and tailoring his application to that program. You advised that he should apply early decision since he knew he wanted to attend school there. Adam, who ranked 12th in his class, got in to Cornell, while the 3rd, 4th, 6th and 8th ranked students did not!

We appreciate you not only as a college advisor but as a person. You are so kind, have a wonderful sense of humor, and it was clear to us from the start that you truly care for the families you help. It was a pleasure to work with you, and your current and future clients are lucky to have you!

How can we possibly thank you for all that you’ve done for Jordan? From the first time we met at our consultation, your depth of knowledge, warmth, and professionalism quickly emerged. It was then, that you became “the chosen one” that we needed to get us through the application process.

During Jordan’s junior year, you always made yourself available to both Jordan and I if we had any questions concerning course selection or extra curricular activities. As senior year approached, you gave him the motivation and support that he needed to stay on task. You gave him encouragement when it came time to fill out the applications. The time that you put into editing his essays (and you know how many different essays he had) was astonishing. Your editing skills are exemplary! You always were there by our side and that is something that we are grateful for. We look forward to working with you for our other two sons.

Basically, you are a wonderful, caring person who turned a daunting process into a smooth ride. You became a mentor and a trusted friend to all of us….and for that we thank you.
