Futures Package for Juniors and Seniors:

Initial Session- I will work with your family and support your child in making the right fit and select appropriate college choices based on his/her interests as well as academic strengths. We will review schools that you may be considering and work to improve your understanding of the college application process. We will discuss your child's career goals, academic and social interests, as well as your comfort level concerning any location restrictions as well as any financial matters. All important factors will be considered in order to formulate an appropriate college list. After our initial meeting I will analyze the information discussed to provide you with an appropriate list of colleges. I will also draft a preliminary analysis of the student's activity document which will be developed with the student during the second meeting.

Second Session- I will provide, based on my research, a list of recommended schools with contact information and application deadlines. A CD Rom with web-links will be provided outlining each college profile individually matching the student's criteria. His/her activity document will be further defined, highlighting the student's unique qualities as seen in the eyes of the admissions officers.

Third Session-
During this session we will complete and finalize all materials before they are sent to each college including:
     -Applications
     -Student activity document
     -Essays
     -Financial Aid forms
     -Letters of recommendation

A La Carte Services Available:

College Selection Process- I will meet and work with your family to develop an initial college list. We will evaluate any schools on your list to determine if they are realistic options. I will conduct research based on the information gathered and refine the college list that best meets the needs of the student and family. I will oversee and guide you through the application process, including reviewing applications before they are sent to colleges.

Student Activity Document: 'Resume'- I will review the student's extracurricular activities and create a resume profile to market student's strengths more efficiently. I will emphasize and highlight what makes the student unique in the eyes of the admissions officers. This document will be included in all of the students applications.

Essay Critiquing- I will review the student's admissions essay for grammar, spelling, and comprehension. I will make sure that the student is satisfied and confident that this is his/her best representation.

Financial Aid Services- I will assist the family with completion of the proper financial aid forms FAFSA, CSS Profile, or college financial aid forms.

Mock-Interview Services- I will work one on one with the student explaining what a college interview will consist of as well as conduct mock interviews with the student. We will also come up with a list of appropriate questions to ask the admissions officers.
